MemoCactus is a note and reminder tool for Windows. It allows you to leave notes to remind you about the important events. Unlike other note applications, MemoCactus does not use a virtual "PostIt" note on your desktop. It rather uses text that is always on the top of your applications. This might be a little annoying for some, but I believe that is absolutely no way you are going to forget to water the plants if you see: "water the plants" on the top of your IM application all day long. For every note that you create, you can change its font and color. There is a real-time preview of your note below the input field. There is also a "See also" text field where you can either have MemoCactus open another application, a command or even an Internet hypertext link. The position of the notes on your screen can also be changed, along with the text alignment (either right or left). The brightness of the text on your screen can also be modified with a bar in the settings menu. MemoCactus can sit in the tray and it can be called with a hotkey which is customizable. Once you have had enough of a note, you can configure a double-click to mark your note as done and it will cease to exist.
